Controversy surrounding the retrograde planets

Retrograde planet is controversial in astrology. According to Phaldeepika it is very good. According to Jataka Parijat it is bad. According to Phaldeepika a retro debilitated planet creates a NEECHA BHANGA RAJA YOGA & hence beneficial, but BV Raman possibly opposes this view in his books.
According to BV Raman Saturn retro & debilitated can't do good. It is more likely to harm. This case has been verified by me in the chart of a divorced woman who had Saturn debilitated & retro in both D1 & D9. It was placed in her 7th house, (Although it was a neccha bhanga & Sat is yogakaraka for Libra asc !) 

So I hope one may understand the controversy regarding retro planets & the controversy regarding neccha bhanga raja yoga too. My view till date is that retrograde planets harm the houses in which they are placed & do bad in their dasa-antardasa, unless there are other factors that make them beneficial such as the house that they possess & exaltation/own house placement.

M Visvesvaraya (15 September 1861 – 12 April 1962) was a great Indian engineer & statesman of international fame. His speech & manners were extremely polished.
His birth data is 15/9/1861 at about 12:45 pm, according to astrosage.com.
His birth data is 15/9/1861 at about 2:20 pm, Chikballapur district, as found in one of the books of BV Raman.
I am using the astrosage's data for analysis.

In 11th house(Libra) Venus is present. According to Phaldeepika, a native with Venus in 11th house will be wealthy & will enjoy all kinds of happiness. He will have connections with other's wife. Last sentence seems to be untrue here. But enormous wealth , gains, material goods, happiness & many friends are definitely indicated as says the common sense. This position also indicates children & happiness through children.
But internet have no information about his children, except that two of his wives died at childbirth.
5th lord in 11th house have the following effects according to BV Raman : the native will be rich and learned and helps others; will have a number of sons; becomes an author.
Budh-aditya yoga is present in 10th house(Virgo) with Sun at 0 degree28' & Mer at 9 deg 10'59" approx. In D9 Sun is in Cap in 10th house. According to Phaldeepika Sun in 10th house will give the native wealth, sons, conveyances, intelligence, strength & fame. He will be a king. He will be praised for his good conduct. Hence by common sense we can say that Sun in 10th gives a good career & raja yoga.
His father died when he was merely 12 years old. This is due to Vridhavastha of Sun in 10th & Sat-Mars combination in 9th house. According to Phaldeepika, Mars in 9th makes one lose father prematurely & Sat in 9th makes one devoid of father (probably meaning it makes one lose father prematurely).
Sat in 9th according to Phaldeepika makes the person devoid of wealth, fortune, children & father. It makes one wicked & irreligous. But Saturn is exalted in D9 & hence producing an opposite effect. Hence, Sir MV might have been very dharmic/tapasvi & wealthy too.
In D9 9th lord is cut by Rahu in 6th house . Rahu of Lagna aspects 9th house by 5-9 aspect. His father died when he was merely 12 years old.
In starting of Rahu dasa he lost his father.
In D9 Rahu of Virgo is there in 6th house. In D1 Rahu is in 1st house (Saggi) aspected by Jup. He completed his education in Rahu Dasa despite financial hurdles. He studied civil engineering at the prestigious College of Engineering, Pune. He luckily got financial support from the British govt.
According to Phaldeepika Jupiter in 9th house makes the native wealthy & blesses the native with sons(chilren). It makes someone famous, virtuous & religious. Such a person will perform religious rites. He will become minister of the king. Sir MV was diwan of state of Mysore from 1912 to 1918. It seems that he received favours & honours from the British & Indian governments. According to Phaldeeika Guru Mangal yoga makes one a king, an administrator of a city or town or a rich brahmin. Here Guru & Mangal are in Leo sign & 9th house. So Guru Mangal yoga is in full effect.
Sakata yoga is also formed here. But I have already proved in some other articles that Sakata yoga is nothing.
Probably a debilitated Ketu is posited in 7th house(Gemini) here. Although Ketu is in own house of Pisces in D9. But Ketu had overall a negative effect on 7th house here. Sir's first two wives died at childbirth and he was forced to separate from the third because of incompatibility. But he always sent her money and after her death, conducted the last rites.
7th lord mer is exalted in 10th house. 7th lord in 10th house in general gives a disobedient wife, wealth & sons. It makes a person religious.

I have certain reasons to believe this data to be correct i.e on the basis of his D1 & D9. Although a chart of him of Saggitarius asc, is available on astrosage, yet I prefer to use the BV Raman's book
data due to its authenticity & some analysis given in that. 

Let me first discuss some of his life events & achievements. M. Visvesvaraya(popularly known as Sir MV) was an Indian engineer, scholar, statesman and the Diwan of Mysore from 1912 to 1918. He is a recipient of the Indian Republic's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955. He was knighted as a Knight Commander of the British Indian Empire (KCIE) by King George V for his contributions to the public good. Every year, on his birthday, 15 September is celebrated as Engineer's Day in India in his memory. He is held in high regard as a pre-eminent engineer of India. He was the chief engineer responsible for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mysore as well as the chief designer of the flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad.

Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya was born on 15 September 1861, into a Telugu speaking Mulukanadu Brahmin (Smartha Brahmins) family to Mokshagundam Srinivasa Shastry and Venkatalakshmamma in Muddenahalli village, Chickkaballapur District, Karnataka. Visvesvaraya lost his father at the age of 12. He enrolled for primary school in Chikballapur and attended high school in Bangalore. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Central College, Bangalore then affiliate of the University of Madras in 1881 and later studied civil engineering at the prestigious College of Engineering, Pune.

Visvesvaraya took a job with the Public Works Department (PWD) of Mumbai and was later invited to join the Indian Irrigation Commission. He implemented an extremely intricate system of irrigation in the Deccan area.

He also designed and patented a system of automatic weir water floodgates that were first installed in 1903 at the Khadakvasla Reservoir near Pune. These gates were employed to raise the flood supply level of storage in the reservoir to the highest level likely to be attained without causing any damage to the dam. Based on the success of these gates, the same system was installed at the Tigra Dam in Gwalior and the Krishna Raja Sagara (KRS) Dam in Mandya/Mysore, Karnataka.

In 1906–07, the government of India sent him to Aden to study their water supply and drainage system. The project prepared by him was implemented in Aden successfully.  Visvesvaraya achieved celebrity status when he designed a flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad. He was instrumental in developing
a system to protect Visakhapatnam port from sea erosion. Visvesvaraya supervised the construction of the KRS Dam across the Kaveri River from concept to inauguration. This dam created the biggest reservoir in Asia when it was built.

He was called the "Father of modern Mysore state" (now Karnataka): During his service with the government of Mysore state, he was responsible for the founding of (under the patronage of the Mysore government) the Mysore Soap Factory, the Parasitoide Laboratory, the Mysore Iron & Steel Works (now known as Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Limited) in Bhadravathi, the Sri Jayachamarajendra Polytechnic Institute, the Bangalore Agricultural University, the State Bank of Mysore, The Century Club, Mysore Chambers of Commerce, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore and numerous other industrial ventures.

He encouraged private investment in industry during his tenure as Diwan of Mysore. He was instrumental in charting out the plan for road construction between Tirumala and Tirupati. He was known for sincerity, time management and dedication to a cause.

Why one needs to show his chart to an expert or good astrologer?

There are many contradictory views existing in Vedic astrology. Contradictions exist in modern literature as well as classics on astrology. To sort out those contradictions an experts view is needed. The reason is that the expert has worked on many real charts & applied the theory in practical life too.

Let us take an example. How important is Sakata yoga? It is given in classics , but should it be blindly applied on charts or not?

Sakata yoga: If Moon is in 6th, 8th or 12th house from jupiter, then this yoga is formed. If Moon is in a Kendra then such a yoga is cancelled.

Result: Unhappy, unfortunate. Sometimes his luck dawns but other times it fades away.

Now this is the view of Phaldeepika & some other classics on SAKATA yoga. But I in fact don't use this yoga. I think that this yoga is not valid. If Moon is in 12th house from Jupiter , then Jupiter would be 2nd house from from Moon. This would make another yoga "Sunapha yoga" that would make someone a king, famous & rich. So Sakata yoga is directly in contradiction with Sunapha yoga.
Moreover Jupiter as a reference point in this yoga seems to be weird, as Chandra could be a better reference point.  

Hence I think that this form of Sakata yoga is an invalid yoga.

There is an alternate form of Sakata yoga given in Saravali. That yoga definitely seems to be true , but not this one.

Quantum Theory Demonstrated: Observation Affects Reality

REHOVOT, Israel, February 26, 1998--One of the most bizarre premises of quantum theory, which has long fascinated philosophers and physicists alike, states that by the very act of watching, the observer affects the observed reality.

In a study reported in the February 26 issue of Nature (Vol. 391, pp. 871-874), researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science have now conducted a highly controlled experiment demonstrating how a beam of electrons is affected by the act of being observed. The experiment revealed that the greater the amount of "watching," the greater the observer's influence on what actually takes place.
The research team headed by Prof. Mordehai Heiblum, included Ph.D. student Eyal Buks, Dr. Ralph Schuster, Dr. Diana Mahalu and Dr. Vladimir Umansky. The scientists, members of the Condensed Matter Physics Department, work at the Institute's Joseph H. and Belle R. Braun Center for Submicron Research.
When a quantum "observer" is watching Quantum mechanics states that particles can also behave as waves. This can be true for electrons at the submicron level, i.e., at distances measuring less than one micron, or one thousandth of a millimeter. When behaving as waves, they can simultaneously pass through several openings in a barrier and then meet again at the other side of the barrier. This "meeting" is known as interference.
Strange as it may sound, interference can only occur when no one is watching. Once an observer begins to watch the particles going through the openings, the picture changes dramatically: if a particle can be seen going through one opening, then it's clear it didn't go through another. In other words, when under observation, electrons are being "forced" to behave like particles and not like waves. Thus the mere act of observation affects the experimental findings.
To demonstrate this, Weizmann Institute researchers built a tiny device measuring less than one micron in size, which had a barrier with two openings. They then sent a current of electrons towards the barrier. The "observer" in this experiment wasn't human. Institute scientists used for this purpose a tiny but sophisticated electronic detector that can spot passing electrons. The quantum "observer's" capacity to detect electrons could be altered by changing its electrical conductivity, or the strength of the current passing through it.
Apart from "observing," or detecting, the electrons, the detector had no effect on the current. Yet the scientists found that the very presence of the detector-"observer" near one of the openings caused changes in the interference pattern of the electron waves passing through the openings of the barrier. In fact, this effect was dependent on the "amount" of the observation: when the "observer's" capacity to detect electrons increased, in other words, when the level of the observation went up, the interference weakened; in contrast, when its capacity to detect electrons was reduced, in other words, when the observation slackened, the interference increased.
Thus, by controlling the properties of the quantum observer the scientists managed to control the extent of its influence on the electrons' behavior. The theoretical basis for this phenomenon was developed several years ago by a number of physicists, including Dr. Adi Stern and Prof. Yoseph Imry of the Weizmann Institute of Science, together with Prof. Yakir Aharonov of Tel Aviv University. The new experimental work was initiated following discussions with Weizmann Institute's Prof. Shmuel Gurvitz, and its results have already attracted the interest of theoretical physicists around the world and are being studied, among others, by Prof. Yehoshua Levinson of the Weizmann Institute.
Tomorrow's Technology
The experiment's finding that observation tends to kill interference may be used in tomorrow's technology to ensure the secrecy of information transfer. This can be accomplished if information is encoded in such a way that the interference of multiple electron paths is needed to decipher it. "The presence of an eavesdropper, who is an observer, although an unwanted one, would kill the interference," says Prof. Heiblum. "This would let the recipient know that the message has been intercepted."
On a broader scale, the Weizmann Institute experiment is an important contribution to the scientific community's efforts aimed at developing quantum electronic machines, which may become a reality in the next century. This radically new type of electronic equipment may exploit both the particle and wave nature of electrons at the same time and a greater understanding of the interplay between these two characteristics are needed for the development of this equipment. Such future technology may, for example, open the way to the development of new computers whose capacity will vastly exceed that of today's most advanced machines.

Random Nonsense of someone who knew too little

Terrible science from a time when I knew very little in the domains of both science and writing. I've considered deleting this post but feel that would be a disservice to my prior self.

If quantum mechanics is correct than everything in the universe would have a subtle affect on our life due to its gravitational force. This force alter on what plankian size of time-space we are existing in. By moving this place the quarks are in the brain cells you completely change there likelihood of making random quantum fluctuations(like my brain cell deciding to randomly jump to pluto and chill).

    Any minute change in position of my developing brain cells would have another chance to have a different space in time-sapce at one time. Thus if there was one more star in the universe just by adding one star I would have developed into a different person with the quantum possibility.

    The shear magnitude of the number of them would give me more and more chances, almost infinite* (i say infinite because it would make it more beautiful mathematically), for them to warp somewhere else. This could possibly explain how some cells just randomly die. Maybe one of its quarks just decided it didn't like it anymore and decide to go to star 35789810. This would probably cause the cell stress but would not kill it. Slowly as more and more quarks do this the more the cell gets damaged forcing it to die.

    Different positions of the stars force your cells to either grow do completeness or die off. This would make each individual person develop their own personality according to the different gravitational forces they experience. Thus patterns would begin to emerge in people with similar gravitational forces. And the bigger the gravitational force (ie the things closest to us the sun, the planets, comets) the bigger the consistencies.

Conclusion: astrology is supported by quantum mechanics

In general this description works for the people born between 20 Jan to 18 Feb according to western astrology or people born between 13 Feb to 14 Mar according to Vedic astrology. In fact sidereal position of Sun/Moon/Asc. or dates given by Vedic astrology are better than tropical ones, this is my conviction.

I believe that sidereal & tropical position of planets are like two waves superimposed on each other. Just like Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle it is difficult to predict when a planet will show its sidereal nature and when it will show its tropical nature. In fact defining a Asc/ Moon sign/ Sun sign is a difficult task. Different books have different opinions. I tend to analyse in my own intuitional way making a mix of Sidereal & tropical Asc / Moon/ Sunsign. But I am convinced that interpretation of any zodiac sign based on its symbol (picture) is true. Anyway Vedic astrology is based on sidereal positions of planets. While western astrological authors like Linda Goodman or Bejan Daruwalla might be good at interpretation of Zodiac signs based on tropical position of Sun (Sun Signs), the same interpretations can be successfully used in sidereal Vedic astrology.  For exact position of Sun/moon or asc. at your birth refer to any good astrological software.

Hyderabad: Research on three ancient tribal populations of the Indian subcontinent has once again brought to fore the Indo-Aryan migration debate. The study has rejected any migration into the Indian subcontinent in the last 12,000 years, thereby rejecting the Aryan invasion theory.
Anthropological scientists said there has been continuity in lineage since the Neolithic period, rejecting the conventional theory of the influx of the Indo-Aryan populations. The research study, carried out by Estonian Biocentre and University of Delhi, concluded: “Our high-resolution analysis portraying the three ancient tribal populations strongly rejects any incoming genetic signal of large-scale, recent (during the post-Neolithic) migration either of the present Dravidian or the Indo-European speaking populations to the subcontinent.”
Dr Vadlamudi Raghavendra Rao, one of the authors of the study, said, “DNA evidence is direct evidence and DNA dating is also possible in studies. Our results show continuity in the lineages and we would like to say there is a lot of sharing and the genetic footprint of these tribal groups is being shared by other ethnic populations.”
Scientists claimed that absence of any migration into the Indian subcontinent shows the flaws in the Indo-Aryan theory, which suggests that humans migrated from Africa to the Mediterranean region and then to the Indian subcontinent through the northwestern part of the present day country.
This latest study, however, claims migration occurred from the Indian subcontinent to the European region. Other scientists have also corroborated this theory that has come up in recent times. Critics say that the propagation of the Indo-Aryan theory is a “saffronisation” of history.

Microsoft’s push towards Windows 10 continues. Today, Microsoft is ending support for Windows 8, as well as older versions of its Internet Explorer web browser, IE 8, IE 9, and IE 10. For end users, that doesn’t mean the software instantly becomes non-functional, but that it will longer be updated with bug fixes or other security patches. That  could potentially expose a good portion of online users to malware, if they choose not to upgrade, Microsoft warns.
On its website, the company explains that security patches are necessary to protect computers from attacks, so “upgrading and staying current is important.”
Microsoft suggests that users who want to remain on Internet Explorer immediately move to the new version, Internet Explorer 11, which offers better security, improved performance, better backward compatibility, and support for web standards. This version of the web browser will continue to receive fixes and security patches, as well as technical support on several versions of Windows, including Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
Of course, users can also choose to move to Microsoft’s new web browser, Microsoft Edge, if they also move to a Windows 10 device. This successor to IE is the built-in browser on Windows 10, and offers a simple design, access to Microsoft’s virtual assistant Cortana, a “Reading View,” and the added ability to doodle or annotate web pages with notes, among other things.
Additionally, if you’re still slogging away on Windows Vista (SP2), IE 9 will continue to be supported, Microsoft said previously. Windows Server also offers some exceptions, with IE 9 support on Server 2008 (SP2) and IE 10 support on Server 2012.
The current user base on IE 8 through 10 is sizable – it represents roughly 20 percent of the desktop web browser market, according to data from Netmarketshare. That is, 4.18 percent of users are on IE 10, another 6.67 percent use IE 9, and 8.95 percent are on IE 8.
In addition to killing off older versions of IE, today is also the last day for Windows 8 support, which will also no longer receive security patches and other updates following today’s final Patch Tuesday for the OS. That means Windows 8 users will need to upgrade to Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, in order to continue to protect their PC from security risks.
Windows 8.1 upgraders will then receive support until Jan. 10, 2023, and Windows 10 upgraders will have support until Oct. 14, 2025 after they move to the new OS version.
Microsoft has been heavily pushing its newer OS Windows 10, and said recently that the operating system is now running on over 200 million devices. However, the company’s larger goal is to increase that figure to over a billion in a few years’ time. In part, getting there will require overcoming users’ inertia – and enterprise’s reluctance – to move to a new version of an OS.
According to some sources, Windows 8 is still running on 2-3 percent of PCs, or 30-40 million devices. By forcing customers’ hands by ending support for older versions, Microsoft is encouraging those users to finally ditch their outdated software.

वर्ष 2016 तक भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए किस प्रकार किया जाएगा ?

भारत  (India) की संख्या 3 है। 1947 की संख्या है 3 । 15 अगस्त की संख्या है 6 ।  अत: भारत के लिए 3,6,9 वर्ष अच्छे हैं। 2015 संख्या 8  थी। क्योंकि 2+0+1+5=8 ।  इस वर्ष के लिए भारत की प्रगति अच्छी नहीं थी।

2015 में सेंसेक्स में कमी आई।  विपक्षी दलों ने जीएसटी पारित किया जाने  नहीं दिया  ।

सामान्य में 4 और 8 तिथियाँ या  वर्ष भारत के लिए अच्छा नहीं रहे हैं।
