"Kendradhipati Dosha" doesn't work practically in my observations. If some benefic planet owning kendra is giving bad results , don't blame it to "KENDRADHIPATI DOSHA", Find out other reasons for it.
I can prove the invalidity of "Kendradhipati Dosha" LOGICALLY & by using PROBABILITY PRINCIPLE.
Lords of 3,6,8,11,12 generally become malefics as per the conventional astrology. Conventional astrology says that lord of 4th, 7th and 10th become functional malefics, if they are natural benefics. This is known as Kendradhipati Dosha. If we blindly stick to these principles, then have 8 house-lords out of 12 , which will become functional malefic although they are natural benefics.
So this gives the probability of 8/12 i.e 66.66 % for a natural benific to become malefic. This is not believable, since natural benefics are called "Benefics". What for are they called "Benefics" (Subha Grahas) then?
I have numerous data against Kendradhipati dosha. I am just asking you one simple question "Why should a Subha graha (Natual Benefic) be bad on basis of ownership 66.66 % of time? "
I find no reason for it. So personally I don't use KENDRADHIPATI DOSHA. More over this theory is incompatible with the different yogas described in the Parasari astrological system. Till date I have plenty of evidence against this dosha theory.
But I need more evidence against it to prove that it is not applicable even with respect to Dasha system too. Although I am convinced that this "Kendradhipati Dosha" is a wrong theory, even when applied to Dashas of Kendradhipati planets, I am still researching on this subject. After all researches always lead to good predictions.
This Dosha is incompatible with the different other yogas described in the Parasari astrological system. Take Bhadra Yoga for example. Mercury in any of the Kendras (1,4,7,10) gives Bhadra yoga. if it is simultaneously located in its own sign or the sign of exaltation. Bhadra Yoga is a powerful yoga & it tends to make a person highly intelligent, a good orator/writer and someone who can communicate his/her ideas to the world with utmost ease. As Mercury also governs businesses in general, the corresponding influence would also help the person in fields of management - sales, marketing and finance.
Now we can see that Bhadra Yoga is directly in confrontation with the Kendradhipati Dosha. Now an student of astrology will get confused at this point , what to believe & what not to. I would say in favour of Bharda yoga here due to my practical experience with numerous charts that I have seen till date. So I would advice the students of astrology to be cautious while using this concept of Kendradhipati Dosha.
In my researches I have found that Kendrapati Dosha is not applicable while reading the 12 houses in general. But it can be applied while using Dashas. See the house too where a kendradhipati dosha planet is posited. Is it combust or not ? See its D9 position too.

Hari Om, Good points. Your points are well written and definitely agreeable. I too never believed in this theory of Kendradhipathi Dosha. Always thought it is some dirty minds work considering how come good planets become bad or not at all there when place d in kendra... Things like Bhadra Yoga as pointed out by you are brilliant. In my fourty years, I never got something which supports Kendradhipathi dosha. so I am sure this dosha cannot be accepted simply and be used blindly to trouble readers. This is like the pillars i.e Kendra planets become flaw full just because they are the pillars! There must be something else, which is entirely missing. A strict teacher can seem like a bad teacher at that point in life, but ultimately that teacher is good or best. Only unwise can fall for such wrong theories of Kendradipathi dosha. Good article.
